What a lovely end of term with our Christmas service at church and then final school meeting. Congratulations to these five children for their 100% attendance certificates. I wonder how many certificates Sycamore can get next term?

We have had a lovely couple of days with Christmas lunch and Christmas parties, finished off with a visit from Santa. What a lot of fun. We are all exhausted now after an afternoon of dancing and games. Tomorrow the term finishes with our Christmas Service at Woodborough Church and then final assembly at school.

This afternoon we have been busy exercising and working our bodies in all sorts of ways. We had lots of fun and used up all our energy !
We have had a busy time recently with our trip to Roves Farm, Christmas performances, Christmas maths and Christmas writing.
Today we have written letters to Santa and had lots of fun making Christmas cards.
The children were fantastic in all the Christmas performances this week. As they are all tired there is no homework this weekend but please continue with their reading.
